The Box Office will do in person ticket sales and will call ticket pick ups only on the day of performances 2 hours prior to showtime.
The Fine Print
For the Best Seating Order Early
All seats are reserved for the Season. Many events sell out in advance. Please note that shows start promptly at the advertised time. All patrons should be seated prior to the advertised start time.
Late Seating is not guaranteed. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the house staff at an appropriate interval in the program as designated by the artist.
No Ticket Refunds - All Sales Are Final
Ticket orders are non-refundable unless an event is cancelled. Due to the nature of the performing arts, programs are subject to change without notice. Information on our website, and paid advertising in the local newspapers and radio stations are updated regularly. We are not responsible for errors in the community calendars and articles that are published by the local media. Please contact the Box Office to verify any information that you see in a calendar or article before purchase. The UH Hilo Performing Arts Center is not responsible for necessary changes in the events announced.
Ticketing and Discounts
Everyone must have a ticket even "Babes in Arms." We do not reserve tickets without payment. We offer discounts to:
- Seniors aged 55 and over,
- Alumni with current Alumni Association Membership Card,
- Faculty/Staff of UH Hilo and HawCC,
- Children (age 17 & under),
- UH Hilo and HawCC Students with valid Student ID. Each UH Hilo/HawCC Student Discount ticket must be presented with Valid Student ID at the Door. No Exceptions.
Tickets ordered online or by phone more than 10 working days prior to the event will be mailed, unless we are otherwise instructed. Tickets ordered within the 10 working day period will be held at the Box Office for pickup. For season events, the Box Office typically opens 2 hours prior to showtimes.
Cameras/Phones/Pagers/Food & Drink
By contractual agreement with the artists, cameras and recording equipment are strictly prohibited. Cell phones and pagers must be set for silence upon entering the theatre. Food and Drink are not permitted in the Performing Arts Center with the exception of water in non-breakable containers.
Patrons with Disabilities
For disability accommodation, please advise the Box Office of your specific needs when ordering tickets. Some accommodations will require a minimum notice of 10 working days prior to the event. Persons with mobility issues that require early entrance should notify the Box Office of their needs upon arrival so that the House Manager may arrange accommodations.

There is a specially designated parking stall provided in the Zone 2 lot on the Kawili Street side of the Performing Arts Center adjacent to the accesible parking spaces available to patrons who wish to come to our office in person during business hours to purchase tickets. Parking in this space is limited to 15 minutes, and does not require a permit.
Daily Parking on campus is $3. Visitors wishing to park on campus M–F between 6am–4pm, must buy a daily parking pass, good in all lots, from the Parking Office, the Main Entrance on Kawili Street, or at the Zone 6 Lanikaula Street entrance. Refunds, for short term visits, will be available if the pass is returned within 1/2 hour of the time of purchase.
